In St. Petersburg it is necessary to respect rules to get into metro

You can be not allowed to the St.Petersburg metro when violating some rules: the absence of a ticket, including for luggage, masks and gloves, as well as refusal to undergo inspection.

The Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, approved a number of rules for the use and operation of the St. Petersburg metro, the Smolny press service said on October 2.

A passenger may not be allowed into the metro if he refuses to undergo inspection, he does not have a ticket for himself and his luggage, and if he comes without a mask and gloves, while the city is on high alert.

The introduced rules are typical and approved by the Ministry of Transport. The rules also indicate what subway employees have to do in case of problems and how to prepare the train for the beginning of traffic.
