The relevant project documentation should be delivered in early 2026. Smolny's order also revealed other plans for the development of the St. Petersburg metro.
St. Petersburg authorities have ordered to start work on a plan to continue the Frunzensko-Primorskaya metro line 4 kilometers long. It will have to stretch from the station "Shuvalovsky Prospekt" to the station "Kolomyazhskaya". All necessary documentation should be delivered by February 2026.
In the original plans it was supposed that between the stations "Magistral No. 31" and "Kolomyazhskaya" will be located more "Kamenka", but now it is not there. But this name was preserved and will be given to the future station on the green line, which was formerly called "Planernaya" in the documents. From it there will be a transfer to "Shuvalovsky Prospekt".
The authorities refused to consider "Frunzenskaya" subway station closed for overhaul as an architectural monument.
