Over the past day, 360 people were hospitalized in St. Petersburg hospitals with coronavirus and pneumonia, while 399 patients left medical facilities on recovery.
According to the updated data of the North Capital emergency operations center, 360 people were admitted to city hospitals with coronavirus and pneumonia during the previous day and 399 patients were discharged after recovery.
Thus, 5916 citizens of St.Petersburg are under treatment now and 574 people are in intensive care, 286 of them are on a ventilator.
More than 2,400 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in St. Petersburg per day. For the first time in a long time, less than 60 people died in a day.
Currently, 18 hospitals are receiving coronavirus patients in the northern capital, in which 7949 beds have been deployed, about 50% of the bed capacity is occupied. 29,051 people are on outpatient treatment, 4,152 are in quarantine.
Also, 180 vaccination points continue to operate in the city. In total, 2.2 million people were vaccinated from the coronavirus. The vaccine stock is 811,471 dose sets.
