Three people in St. Petersburg have contracted encephalitis in a week

From June 20 to June 26, 797 people with complaints of tick bites applied to St. Petersburg hospitals.

Three of them were diagnosed with encephalitis. This is 68.2% more than in the same period last year.

"Petersburg2" writes that residents of Pushkinsky, Kurortny, Vyborgsky, Primorsky and Krasnoselsky districts suffered the most from tick bites.

In Pushkinsky district 29 people applied, in Kurortny - 29, in Vyborgsky - 12, in Primorsky - 11, in Krasnoselsky - 10.

Also during the week was vaccinated 1300 people, including 561 children. This is a planned vaccination.

In Rospotrebnadzor reminded that after a walk you need to examine yourself and your loved ones in time to notice a tick bite.

Earlier it was reported that in St. Petersburg from June 6 to June 12, 877 attacks of ticks were registered, and more than 1600 residents of the Tomsk region suffered from ticks during the week.
