The French president plans to arrive in Kazakhstan on November 1.
French President Emmanuel Macron will pay a working visit to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan this week.
According to Bloomberg, the purpose of the visit is to improve energy security of France, Bloomberg agency reports citing its own sources. It is known that Macron will arrive in Kazakhstan on November 1, the next day will go to Uzbekistan.
"The purpose of the trip is to improve the energy security of France. Macron is "looking for new friends and uranium," the publication notes.
The second goal pursued by the French president is an attempt to influence the dependence of the two republics on Russia, according to Bloomberg.
Earlier it was reported that Macron postponed his visit to Sweden.
