Rosfinmonitoring lists Navalny’s headquarters as extremist organization

Leonid Volkov, the coordinator of Navalny's headquarters, said the day before that the organizations had been dissolved. The next day Rosfinmonitoring added the headquarters to the list of organizations involved in terrorism and extremism.

Navalny's headquarters are listed as "Russian legal entities" on the federal agency's official website as number 461.

Leonid Volkov had earlier in the day reported that Navalny's headquarters had been disbanded. The same applies to the Anti-Corruption Foundation and the Foundation for the Defense of Citizens' Rights (included in the list of non-profit NGOs-foreign agents).

The previous day, the Babushkinsky District Court in Moscow upheld the conviction of Alexei Navalny in the case of defamation of a World War II veteran. The court ordered him to pay a fine of 850,000 rubles.

The Russian Investigative Committee also opened a new criminal case against Alexei Navalny. The list of defendants also includes Leonid Volkov and FBK head Ivan Zhdanov. They are all accused of setting up a non-profit organization that infringes on the rights of citizens.
