In Turkey, presidential candidate Sinan Ogan said that we should try to resolve the situation through dialogue before imposing sanctions.
According to him, he would first give peace a chance. Before imposing sanctions, we should try to talk. Ogan added that to resolve the conflict it is necessary to hold a meeting with both the Russian and Ukrainian sides, RIA Novosti reported.
The politician urged not to repeat the Western countries' sanctions against Russia. Ogan stressed that his priority would be Turkey and the region. At the same time, domestic affairs should be resolved by their own efforts.
Recall that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara will not be a party to conflicts.
