Former United States President Donald Trump revealed what prevented cooperation with Russia.
In an interview with Fox News television, he brought up refuted accusations from his opponents of collusion with Moscow, which allegedly took place during the 2016 election campaign.
According to Trump, this rebuttal took 2.5 years, making it difficult to engage with some states, especially Russia. The smear campaign waged against him for most of the administration also prevented good results for the two powers.
Otherwise, Trump would have been accused of loving Russia. "These people are sick," he added.
