Azerbaijan fires at Russian frontier post on border with Iran

The armed forces of Azerbaijan fired at Russian frontier post on the border with Iran. Four mines fell on the territory of the frontier post.

According to the Wargonzo Telegram channel, there is currently no information about the victims. Moscow has not yet commented on this information, and Baku has denied reports, having accused Yerevan of shelling Azerbaijani territory.

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Araik Harutyunyan said earlier that the Azerbaijani army approached the city of Shushi at a distance of five kilometers. In Armenia, on October 28, Baku was accused of shelling a maternity hospital in the Karabakh capital. It is also reported about dead and injured.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the presence of the Russian military on the border between Iran, Turkey and Nagorno-Karabakh. The Armenian prime minister noted that border guards from Russia "always stood there."
