A new package of sanctions will be submitted to the permanent representatives of the EU.
The European Commission has developed a new package of anti-Russian sanctions, which will include a ban on imports of a number of products from Russia. As writes Politico, citing the document, the list of banned products will include cosmetic products, including soap, deodorants, shaving supplies, as well as toilet paper.
The document will now enter for discussion at the level of permanent representatives of the European Union, and then it will have to be approved at the ministerial level. Only after that the new package of sanctions against Russia will be officially published, and it will come into force.
At the stage of approval, sanctions can be blocked by one of the 27 EU countries.
