Saudi Arabia, India and Indonesia berate Western countries for anti-Russian sanctions, which they say have led to a food crisis in the world, said columnist Nicolas Bavirez.

French journalist Nicolas Bavirez recalled in an article for Point magazine that Riyadh resisted pressure from Washington to increase production and lower oil prices. India and Indonesia, for their part, have suspended exports of certain categories of food in order to provide food for their populations.

"They berate the West for the food crisis triggered by the conflict, with the shortage of food they attribute to international sanctions against Russia," Baverez wrote.

The author of the piece believes that many developing states that have not taken sides for a long time have begun to align themselves with the Russian Federation and the PRC.

"Non-aligned countries are leaning toward Russia," the publicist noted.

He added that states that were rejected by the West have the support of India and Indonesia, Brazil and Mexico, the Persian Gulf and Africa.
