On February 28, the Council of the European Union approved legislative acts on the revision of the long-term budget for 2021-2027, including a provision on aid to Ukraine for 50 billion euros until 2027.
Earlier, the documents were approved by the European Parliament at a session in Strasbourg.
The EU Council regulations will be published in the Official Journal, after which they will enter into force. 50bn euros are earmarked for the fund for Ukraine, including 17bn in the form of grants and 33bn in the form of loans.
