Sputnik V vaccine registered in Moldova

The vaccine Sputnik V has been registered in Moldova for use in the country.

The head of the Party of Socialists in the Republic, former President Igor Dodon informed about it on Friday, February 26.

"A few minutes ago, the Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V was officially registered in Moldova. Deliveries of the drug to Moldova will start in the near future," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Igor Dodon emphasized that the successful registration of the vaccine in the republic took place despite the attempts of the administration of Moldova's elected leader Maia Sandu to obstruct it.

"I sincerely thank the Russian partners for their openness and readiness to help Moldova and its population," the former president added.
