According to RIA Novosti, local activists held a rally in Greece, during which they demanded that the country's authorities restore relations with the Russian Federation.

The activists also spoke out against the supply of weapons to Ukraine, against NATO policy, as well as against the destruction of Greece's tourism industry, which badly needs Russian tourists.

It is reported that the protesters used posters "Zelensky is a robber", "Zelensky is a bloody dictator", "Stop paying for the war in Ukraine", "Greece wants to be friends with Russia and needs tourism", "The people of Russia and Greece are friends", "No to NATO support! Yes to supporting the Greek economy!!!".

One of the activists pointed to fires that could be put out thanks to Russian aid. At the same time, the Greek leadership would rather let the whole country burn than dare to ask Moscow for Be-200 airplanes to extinguish fires. In addition, anti-Russian restrictions deprived Greece of a huge number of tourists, which had a beneficial effect on the economy of the state.

Earlier, former Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos urged the government to ask for help from Moscow, which could provide Athens with Be-200 airplanes.
