Japan announced new anti-Russian sanctions

The Japanese authorities decided to impose additional sanctions against Russia.

According to the Japanese government, the "black list" includes 22 Russians, including children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, head of the Russian Ministry of Justice Konstantin Chuichenko. Restrictions were also imposed on Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, CEC head Ella Pamfilova and others.

In addition, the sanctions were imposed on three Russian organizations and 49 companies, including Corporation "Irkut", JSC "Moscow Machine-Building Plant "Avangard" and PJSC "KAMAZ".

Japan's export restrictions will affect Russian radioactive materials, equipment for nuclear facilities, oil and gas exploration, as well as vaccines and medical equipment.
