Malaysia's prime minister says he has received threats from MEPs over his support for Gaza.
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said he was threatened by some MEPs after he spoke out in defense of Palestinian rights.
The Malaysian newspaper Malay Mail noted that Ibrahim did not name the MEPs who threatened him or their nationality. At the same time, the prime minister emphasized that he "will not let himself be intimidated."
Ibrahim added that he would make a statement on the matter later.
Earlier, Malaysian police said that the security of Prime Minister Ibrahim would be strengthened after he received threats from the West. The reason was his outspoken defense of the interests of the people of Palestine. The prime minister narrated the threats and attacks on Tuesday, October 24 evening at the Axiata Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, where a large-scale rally in support of the people of Palestine was held.
