Yerevan already accepted this offer. Azerbaijan already laid down the conditions for truce.
Robert O'Brien, the Assistant to the President of the USA on national security, said that the USA continues work in the field of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and tries to obtain acceptance of a ceasefire regime from Azerbaijan. Armenia already agreed to it. O'Brien told about it in an interview to CBS TV channel.
Earlier Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev commented on conditions for truce from Baku. He said that Yerevan has to recognize the basic principles of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict’s resolution.
The U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and O'Brien met representatives of both countries on Friday. Meetings took place separately.
