US President Joe Biden has announced the delivery of 31 M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
Washington will supply Kiev with 31 M1 Abrams tanks, US President Joe Biden said.
According to him, American military aid will be accompanied by deliveries from other states.
The White House head added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were currently preparing for a counterattack. In addition, Biden said that as spring approaches, the Ukrainian military is working to defend the territory it holds.
The US president stressed that military assistance to Ukraine poses no threat to Russia. Biden explained that the United States planned to defend the UN Charter, and the decision to supply military equipment to Kiev was "another proof of Western unity" on this issue.
