Aliyev says Azerbaijan buys most weapons from Russia

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev told which countries supply weapons to Baku.

"We buy weapons from many countries, but most of it is purchased not from Turkey and Israel, but from Russia," Aliyev said in an interview with Le Figaro.

According to him, Azerbaijan also buys weapons in Ukraine, Belarus and Iran.

In addition, the Azerbaijani president noted that Russian weapons are supplied to Armenia free of charge. At the same time, Aliyev did not specify where he owns such data from. It is known that last year Armenia bought Su-30SM fighters from Russia, having partially payed for the contract by the time of delivery.
