According to Sergey Markov, it is not only residents of Donbas who want to join Russia. The political analyst named Ukrainian cities that would be happy to join Russia.
He believes that residents of Kharkiv, Odessa, Mykolayiv and Zaporizhzhya would vote for reunification with Russia. However, no one will allow them to do so.
At the same time, the political scientist described the reunification of Donbas with Russia as one of Moscow's main tasks, the “Argumenty Nedeli” informed.
Markov said that he was convinced of the desire of residents of some Ukrainian cities to join Russia when he talked to them personally.
He also spoke out about a certain project of "anti-Russian Ukraine". The political scientist is convinced that it was initiated by enemies in order to destroy our country. And they must not be allowed to do so.
