While not everything is perfect, there are still unresolved issues related to banks.
Turkey and the United Nations are working on proposals for a grain deal with Russia, but problems with banks remain, RIA Novosti reported, citing a source involved in the talks.
"We are working out some proposals in cooperation with the UN. However, everything is not perfect yet, there are still unresolved issues related to banks. We are continuing discussions," the spokesman said.
Earlier, Yeni Safak newspaper reported that without Russia's participation, alternative grain routes are irrational, citing a source in the administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. According to the publication, "significant progress" has been made in the negotiations on the grain route.
Earlier it was reported that the Turkish authorities suggested that the initiative could develop in three ways. If the parties do not come to an agreement, it will lead to an aggravation of the food crisis and hostilities.
