Russian President Vladimir Putin has been revaccinated against the coronavirus. The head of state announced this during a meeting with Denis Logunov, deputy director of the Gamaleya Center.
According to Putin, he was revaccinated with a home-made vaccine Sputnik Lite. It is a single-component vaccine. The President added that after the vaccination he feels fine.
He noted that he was revaccinated on the recommendation of Logunov and his colleagues.
The Delta strain is now considered the most common COVID-19 strain. This mutation is common in Russia and other countries. However, there is a possibility of more dangerous variants, Putin said at the APEC summit.
