The U.S. president also said that the U.S. would defend Taiwan in the event of aggression by the PRC.
U.S. President Joseph Biden said on CNN while speaking to voters that the U.S. military is the most powerful in the world and no other major country, not even China or Russia, can surpass that power.
Biden also said that the U.S. has an obligation to defend Taiwan in the event of Chinese aggression.
Biden also stressed that one should worry not about the American adversaries being stronger, but about whether they will take any wrong action.
Officially, the PRC considers Taiwan to be its province, but the island has been governed by its own administration since 1949 after the end of the civil war.
