Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov urged UN Secretary General Guterres to launch an arbitration procedure against the United States.
Russian diplomatic chief Sergei Lavrov called on UN Secretary-General António Guterres to launch an arbitration procedure against the United States, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Lavrov drew Guterres' attention to Washington's continuing violations of its obligations under the UN Headquarters Agreement of 1947, recalling the refusal to issue visas to diplomats of Russia and other countries to participate in UN events.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that the current situation dictates the need for the Secretary General to launch an arbitration procedure against the United States as soon as possible, which was repeatedly mentioned in specialized resolutions of the UN General Assembly.
Lavrov also handed Guterres a book "Ukrainian crimes against humanity (2022-2023)" and a selection of documentary videos "Children of Donbass".
The book was presented in August. The authors of the book, member of the Russian Public Chamber Maxim Grigoryev and deputy head of the Duma Defense Committee Dmitriy Sablin, said that the book contains the results of the work of the international tribunal on the crimes of Ukrainian neo-Nazis and their accomplices with evidence of more than 600 crimes.
