Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan said that Ankara wants to increase the volume of blue fuel, which it buys from the United States.

Turkey's main energy suppliers are currently Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran.

"We want to increase the amount of gas we buy from the United States on more favorable terms in the coming period," Erdogan clarified during a speech at the Turkish-American Business Council in New York.

According to him, Turkey is ready to cooperate on the delivery of U.S. LNG to countries in the region.
