After Putin's statement that Britain plans to start supplying Kiev with weapons containing depleted uranium, a weapon that is to some extent nuclear. Britons were outraged on social media and called these government statements an attempt to start World War III.

Some noted that such statements would lead states to war. This will not help Ukraine win, but will lead to an escalation of the conflict.

Moreover, some British residents said they despise their government.

Many recalled the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and said that a repeat of that experience "would not do in a conflict with Russia. Suppliers of depleted uranium weapons to Kiev would be guilty of a war crime and should be brought before the ICC, Britons said.
