Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation warned that the militants are preparing a provocation using chemical weapons in Syrian Idlib.
According to Rear Admiral Alexander Grinkevich, deputy head of the Ministry of Defense, the terrorists plan to stage attacks in two Syrian villages in order to accuse the Syrian army of using chemical weapons.
The Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation received information about the preparation by militants of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group (banned in the Russian Federation) of provocations using toxic substances in the south of Idlib.
As noted in the Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties, in the coming days, the militants intend to stage attacks on the settlements of Erich and Besames in the Arab Republic, and after to accuse the Syrian government of using chemical weapons against civilians.
According to the information available to the center, activists of the pseudo-human rights organization White Helmets are involved in the preparation of provocations, including staged video shooting, the Ministry of Defense said.
