‘Russia of the future’ of Navalny is liquidated

The opposition has been trying to register the party for several years. The Ministry of Justice refuses for one reason or another.

Russia’s Supreme Court has liquidated Alexei Navalny’s the political party "Russia of the Future". This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Court.

The court referred to the fact that another political organization already has such a name - Alexander Zorin is the chairman of this party.

Thus, the Supreme Court granted the application of Justice Ministry. For several years, the department has been refusing Navalny and his associates to register their own party - the opposition has been trying to create it since 2013.

Initially, the association was called the “Progress Party” and the “People's Alliance”. The Justice Ministry referred to incorrectly executed documents. In the summer of 2018, employees of the Anti-Corruption Fund filed documents for registering "Russia of the Future."

We remind that today the opposition is undergoing treatment in Berlin. He has been in a coma for weeks.
