China is willing to further develop bilateral relations between the countries.
In his welcoming message to the participants of the X Dialogue between United Russia and the Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinping positively assessed Russian-Chinese relations, noting that they have been tested by the challenges of a complex geopolitical environment.
At the same time, the Chinese leader assured that official Beijing intends to continue its course of strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the countries based on mutually beneficial interests.
"The world has entered a new period of turbulence and transformation. Sino-Russian relations have withstood the tests of rapid changes in the international situation," he stated.
Xi Jinping recalled that in 2024, Russia and China will mark a joint anniversary - 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
He also spoke about the interaction between the parties of the Russian Federation and China, pointing to the formation of a unique platform for strategic cooperation.
Earlier, American journalist Jackson Hinkle said that the United States government should establish relations with these countries instead of confronting Russia and China.
