The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched an airstrike on the monument of Iranian General Qassem Suleimani in Lebanon.
According to the Jerusalem Post, an IDF airstrike on Wednesday evening, October 18, hit a memorial to former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) special unit al-Quds, Qassem Suleimani, near Odaysa in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army said in its Telegram channel on Thursday night that it was striking Hezbollah terrorist targets in Lebanon.
The Lebanese press informed that the strikes were recorded between Kafar Kila and Odaysa, as well as near al-Naqoura, north of Rosh ha-Nikra. This was in response to Wednesday's attacks.
The Israeli military specified that among the targets hit was an observation post from which anti-tank rockets were launched towards Rosh Ha-Nikra.
