The EU has agreed on the seventh package of sanctions against Russia, said Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said that the EU foreign ministers had agreed on the seventh package of anti-Russian sanctions. According to him, the new measures will not affect the supply of Russian energy resources.
Szijjarto explained that it is planned to impose restrictions on public procurement, accepting deposits, and prohibit the provision of audit and accounting services to organizations and state-owned enterprises in Russia.
The sanctions list will be supplemented by 48 Russians and nine organizations. Sberbank is one of them. However, the restrictions will not affect Gazprombank.
The Hungarian minister condemned the new measures against Russia, he called for assistance in establishing peace instead of exacerbating the energy crisis in Europe. According to him, instead of organizing peace talks, Brussels is busy with a new package of sanctions.
