Kremlin spokesman said that the responsibility lies with the American authorities.
At the briefing, the official representative of the Russian leadership, the deputy head of the presidential administration, Dmitry Peskov, said that no contacts on the issue of arms control between the Russian Federation and the United States are currently maintained.
According to him, the situation, as well as the remnants of the legal framework, is currently very sad. At the same time, he explained that the responsibility for this lies with Washington.
“Now we can only state with regret that there are no serious substantive contacts on these issues between Moscow and Washington,” he said.
At the same time, Peskov noted that the issue of arms control is a sphere of interest not only of the Russian Federation and the United States, but of all countries of the world.
