Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected French President Emmanuel Macron's proposal for a truce during the Olympic Games in the summer of 2024.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has responded by rejecting French President Emmanuel Macron's call for an Olympic truce in the summer months of 2024. Zelenskyy pointed out that such a truce could be used by Russia to violate the existing agreements and to conduct military operations.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed support for the principles of Olympism, including the Olympic truce, but criticized the International Olympic Committee for violating the same principles.
It was also reported that French spies in Estonia are learning to infiltrate behind enemy lines.
