Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that the cohesion of China and Russia is strong as a rock, and friendship is inviolable.
He stated to Xinhua that, in a precarious and ever-changing international environment, strong relations between the two countries were even more important for the maintenance of peace and security. By this way he commented on his visit to Russia and a meeting with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Wang Yi noted that diplomats from China and Russia managed to reach consensus on strengthening bilateral relations. The two countries have long been an important stabilizing force in international relations. The Chinese diplomat added there are a number of countries that interfere in the internal affairs of other states, undermine security and put pressure on Russia and China.
According to Wang Yi, Beijing and Moscow will continue to develop relations that are based on respect, justice and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The countries also plan to restore passenger traffic.
