The US sanctions policy in its current form is only making Washington's position in the world worse. At the same time, restrictive measures were previously introduced against Iran.
This opinion was expressed by the US presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The former president said in an interview with Bloomberg that everything the country is currently doing in terms of sanctions comes down to the fact that everyone is distancing themselves from America. Trump also added that he doesn't like sanctions because of this.
At the same time, Trump noted that while in office, he thought it was necessary to impose sanctions on Iran.
In the case of Iran, the politician considered sanctions very useful, but not so necessary.
Earlier it became known that Trump's aide wants to create autonomous zones in Ukraine.
