The sheriff's office of the county in Georgia where former White House chief Donald Trump was indicted on a fourth indictment said it expects the politician and other defendants to appear at the local jail in Fulton, CNN reported.

The sheriff said all 19 defendants named in the indictment are expected to be processed at the Rice Street Jail in Fulton County. He made the statement based on guidance from the district attorney's office and the presiding judge, CNN noted.

The statement said the defendants can surrender at any time because the jail is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Earlier, prosecutors ordered Trump and other defendants to appear in court by August 25: in addition to the indictment, the grand jury also agreed on a warrant for their arrest.
