Russia will mirror the latest US sanctions and will expel 10 US diplomats from the country in the near future. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a press conference.
Lavrov also said that the list of the eight officials who represent the leadership of US President Joe Biden's administration would soon be made publicly available.
We recall that the expulsion of 10 Russian diplomats was announced by the US on Thursday. According to the US authorities, some of the diplomats are carrying out intelligence work on US territory.
Also on Thursday, Polish authorities announced the expulsion of three Russian diplomats. They justified their decision by claiming that members of the Russian mission were violating the terms of their diplomatic status.
