US President Joe Biden has announced the appointment of the country's special envoy for the Ukrainian economic recovery.
He announced that he is appointing Penny Pritzker as America's special representative for Ukraine's economic recovery. As an experienced public servant, former Commerce Secretary, with "deep family ties" to Ukraine, she will be able to draw on her experience and expertise.
According to Biden, Pritzker will lead Washington's efforts to help the Ukrainian economy, particularly mobilizing investment, prioritizing donors, and working to open export markets and companies.
She will also work with Kiev's other international partners, including through the G7 coordination platform. She will help Ukraine's authorities implement reforms to strengthen the economy.
Earlier, The Telegraph wrote that Biden's presence in the White House is beneficial to Russia.
