Former US President Donald Trump has been indicted in a case of attempting to influence the outcome of the 2020 election.
A grand jury in Georgia has indicted former White House chief of staff Donald Trump and a group of people associated with the politician in a case of alleged attempts to influence the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, the indictment says.
Trump was charged with 13 counts, including violating U.S. anti-racketeering and corruption laws, conspiracy to commit forgery and filing false documents, among others.
Charges were also brought against Trump's former lawyer Rudy Giuliani and his ex-assistant Mark Meadows.
The defendants in the case were 19 people, including the billionaire.
Earlier, the court in the United States called a fictitious document with new charges against Trump.
