The negotiation process between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul has not started yet, as Kiev's position on the start time of the meetings has not yet been presented. This was reported by sources in Russian news agencies.
Currently, there are no exact agreements on the date and time of the start of the talks, the parties are waiting for official statements from Ukraine. The Russian delegation is headed by Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky. It also includes Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff, Igor Kostyukov, and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.
At the same time, a magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck Konya, Turkey, causing seismic tremors that were felt even in Ankara, the venue for the talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Turkish leader Recep Erdogan.
At the moment, it remains unknown whether US representatives will take part in the talks, RIA Novosti's sources said.
