The NATO Secretary General has recently often reminded that Ukraine will not join the alliance until the Ukrainian conflict is over. At the same time, he regularly declares the need for a military victory over Russia.
During his visit to the White House, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned U.S. President Joe Biden of the dangers facing the West if Russia wins.
The secretary general fears that a Russian victory in the armed conflict in Ukraine would embolden other states. Stoltenberg complained to Biden that China in particular, inspired by Moscow's experience, would also become confident in its own strength.
He also thanked the White House head for military assistance to the AFU and assured him that Ukraine was already "making significant progress" in its offensive.
Earlier, Stoltenberg said that Ukraine would not be able to join the North Atlantic Alliance until it wins. The secretary-general also said that the Ukrainian state's membership in NATO would lose all meaning if the Kiev regime is defeated.
