Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said that the bill on the introduction of QR-codes on transport will be removed from consideration.
The bill on the introduction of QR codes on air and rail transport will be withdrawn from consideration, the chairman of the lower house of the Russian parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, said.
"Thanks to the feedback comments were heard. On Monday at the State Duma Council we will discuss the question of removing this bill from the agenda," Volodin said.
The Speaker of the State Duma clarified that this decision was due to the outcome of the dialogue between the parliamentarians and the Cabinet and taking into account the views of the regions of the Russian Federation and their residents.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed the hope that rash decisions in the introduction of restrictive measures in transport due to coronavirus will be avoided, and all risks will be thoroughly weighed.
