According to Bloomberg, citing anonymous sources, Washington is raising the alarm about a "possible military operation."

According to the agency, the US has information on this topic, which it has not yet shared with the EU authorities. America plans to do this before a decision is made on a collective response. Sources Bloomberg noted that the fears and estimates of the States are supported by "publicly available evidence."

At the same time, a source "close to the Kremlin" claims that Moscow does not intend to start a war with Ukraine at the moment, but wants to show its readiness to use force if necessary. Another unnamed interlocutor of the agency said that an offensive is "unlikely", but there is allegedly a plan to respond to provocations from Kiev.

One of the sources clarified that it is impossible to find out the true intentions of Russia or predict its next step.

Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, denied information about Russia's "invasion" of a neighboring state.

“I never planned and never will, unless we are provoked by Ukraine or someone else, and this is not a question of protecting our national sovereignty,” Polyansky said.

According to the diplomat, many threats come from Kiev and Washington, whose ships are "very provocative" in the Black Sea area.
