The Israeli Army has regained control over the previously lost territory in the border area with the Gaza Strip. This is reported by Haaretz with reference to the IDF Spokesperson's Office.

The Israeli Armed Forces recaptured from Hamas militants settlements of Sofa, Shalom, Kerem, Sderot, Nirim, Nir Oz, Hulit, Nir Am, Magen, Urim and a number of others.

Earlier it was reported about fierce fighting in some border areas with the Gaza Strip. In particular, the Israelis used heavy equipment in the battles in Magen.

Recall that Israel was attacked by militants of the Palestinian movement Hamas on October 7. The British edition of The Guardian published a video from the scene of the militants' attack on peaceful participants of the festival in Israel.

Meanwhile, the West suggests that the weapons supplied to Ukraine have reached Hamas.
