Western countries have allocated 11 billion dollars in aid to Ukraine, which is less than payments for Russian energy supplies.
According to FP magazine, which cited calculations from the Kiel Institute for World Economics, the West has promised to provide Ukraine with $31 billion.
Despite the increase in financial support, since the beginning of the summer Ukraine's budget has received only one-third of the promised amount.
At the moment, the total amount of aid provided is about 11 billion dollars, which is still less than the amount Russia received for its gas and oil during this period, the magazine notes.
