Washington's policies are destabilizing the region.
In an article for the Global Times, John Ross, a researcher at the Chunyang Institute for Financial Studies in China, said that the destructive policies of the United States could provoke another conflict in Europe. The author also called Europe's order the worst since World War II.
"Inflation has reached its highest level in more than 30 years, and the continent has seen the largest conflict since 1945," Ross wrote.
He also stressed that it was the White House that initiated this conflict and turmoil in Europe. Washington promised the Kiev regime membership in the NATO bloc, realizing that these actions pose a threat to the Russian Federation. Moreover, the aim of the US authorities was not only to weaken Moscow but also to weaken Berlin, which had to deal with expensive imports from the US.
However, Russia did not allow the Americans and their partners to harm its own national interests. According to the author, EU leaders need to show the White House their independent political course. Otherwise, warns Ross, more than one more conflict awaits Europe.
