Sweden's accession to NATO ahead of other candidates is possible under the main condition - sending jet fighters for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was stated by the head of the country's Defence Ministry, Paul Unson.
According to Reuters, a condition for Sweden's potential supply of jet fighters to Ukraine would be that the country be the first to join the North Atlantic Alliance, Unson emphasized.
He also added that the Swedish government will ask its armed forces to analyze whether Stockholm will be able to send jet fighters to the Ukrainian army at all.
Recall that journalist Stenlund said that Sweden was in the worst situation because of support for Ukraine.
