"Our unwavering goal is to prepare a real basis for a fair end to the conflict already this year," Zelensky wrote, emphasizing the importance of achieving a peaceful settlement on fair terms.

Earlier, the Ukrainian leader repeatedly noted that ending the conflict is an urgent need for Ukraine. He emphasized that the country seeks peace, but does not intend to concede principled positions. At the same time, Zelensky expressed readiness to abandon the military way of returning to the 1991 borders, which can be taken as a signal to search for diplomatic solutions.

In addition, the Ukrainian president emphasized the importance of international participation in the peace talks, expressing readiness to invite Russia to the second peace summit, which could become an important step towards the final settlement of the conflict. At the same time, last year the Ukrainian side categorically refused to negotiate and also insisted on the return of its borders to the 1991 state.

Earlier it became known about the receipt of Kiev fighter jets F-16. Also in Kharkiv Region, a warehouse with equipment of the AFU and militants was destroyed.
