Peskov told why Shoigu did not accompany Putin in Tuva

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that former Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu did not accompany President Vladimir Putin on his trip to Tuva, as he now has other duties. It was a working trip.

According to him, sometimes he was accompanied by Shoigu, sometimes not. Now it is a working trip, and Shoigu's sphere of activity is different, he is in another position, so he was not part of the head of state's delegation, TASS reported.

On September 2, Putin visited the republic of Tyva, where Shoigu is from. In the region, the president held an open class “Talking about the important” and a meeting on the development of the region. He also visited the Kyzyl presidential cadet school and the Buddhist monastery “Tubten Shedrub Ling”.

Recall that Putin will take part in the WEF on September 4 and 5. Russian leader Putin praised Mongolia's friendship with Russia.
