The leaders noted the progress being made on humanitarian issues related to the rights of children in war zones, as well as the exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine.

The participants in the meeting also called for concrete steps to remove obstacles to exports of grain and fertilizers from Russia, which would make it possible to resume the deal.

The parties called on the UN to take measures to release 200 thousand tons of Russian fertilizers blocked in EU ports for transfer to African states.

Recall that the second Russia-Africa summit was recently held in St. Petersburg. Putin praised its results. Africa has already called for the unblocking of fertilizers from Russia in EU ports.
